2 racking rows, each consisting of 5 bays with a useable width of
1810 mm, consitute a picking facility with order memory. Within reach height of the order pickers, 3 integrated carton live storage levels stock 4 resp. 7 BITO small parts containers »KLT« per lane. The containers are handled long-side on and are sized 600 x 400 mm. On top of the live storage lanes are 19 static racking levels for one container in depth. The bays - static and live storage - are 4 storage positions wide.
Storage capacity per picking facility: 2 000 containers
Upon completion, the whole project will comprise 6 picking facilities with the same features. Function:
All references pertaining to a customer order are picked automatically from the upper static part into containers which are fed into the customer-dedicated live storage lanes of the lower live storage part.
After an order is complete, the goods are retrieved from the live storage lanes, packed and prepared for despatch.
