Features:
The first installation consists of two blocks of pallet live storage,
each 28600 mm long, 5 331 mm high and either 2500 mm or 7600 mm deep depending on whether there are 2 or 6 pallets per lane. The blocks are 3 levels high and have a central picking tunnel integrated at the floor level. The two buffer levels on top have an inverse incline.
The second installation is intended for accumulating picked pallets
to suit delivery schedules. Length 5700 mm, depth 16000 mm for
13 pallets per lane, height 3 606 mm with 2 levels.
Storage units:
Euro-pallets sized 800 x 1 200 mm and pallets with special dimensions
of 1000 x 1200 mm and 1070 x 1 100 mm.
Pallet loading height 1 700 mm, maximum pallet load 1000 kg.
Storage capacity: 912 pallets.
Function:
Order picking installation with a live storage pallet buffer in the upper levels. The loading aisles are used for restocking as well as for relocating goods from the buffer into the feeder lanes. In the picking tunnel, complete unit loads are collated order-based.
Benefits:
Optimum utilisation of the available warehouse volume by bridging the picking aisle. Goods are always available in sufficient quantities. The picking tunnel provides a safe working environment for order pickers, who can work undisturbed picking the goods according to the FIFO-principle. |
